Develop annual plan to ensure that cost takeout targets can be obtained
As a second line manager I was responsible for managing approx 15 direct reports and 65 indirect reports across Australia and New Zealand together with being responsible for the delivery outcomes of 40 staff located in the Global Delivery Centre in China. The workforce also comprised of a mix of full time employees and contractors.
Understanding the labour costs associated with the work force together with the timing and flow on effects of any reallocation or removal of headcount and their costs allowed me to meet and exceed my annual cost challenges for the running of my organisation.
